The ISO system recognised worldwide. The standards of the ISO 9000 family indicate how a company must operate in order to supply a quality product or service, i.e. that requested by the customer. This family of standards supplies organisational indications, for this reason it can be adapted to different sectors of activities .Certification according tot his family of standards is a system certification i.e. the goods nor the service are certified, but the company management system. The certificate that is issued is the declaration that the company adopts a system of rules, responsibilities, and controls in compliance with the family of ISO standards.
Why is ISO certification important?
To verify the correct implementation of the Management System.
The company implements a quality system (or environmental management) it uses many resources so that the system it adopts is in compliance with the reference standards.
To inform that the improvements obtained depend on a Management System and not isolated initiatives.
A good service or the good quality of a product can depend on an accidental combination of positive factors or the good will of the staff. However, with certification the company informs that the quality that the customer perceives is not accidental, that a precise will exists and a group of rules has allowed the arrival at that result.
Have continuous stimulation for improvement
The fact that the company knows that it has scheduled external controls of its system, means knowing that improvements are always possible and their maintenance is not a trivial operation. A constant stimulation to consider every objective attained as a threshold that can always be exceeded and improved.
